About Chulalongkorn University
Chulalongkorn University was established on 26 March 1917 by King Vajiravudh and named after his father King Chulalongkorn. It is the oldest institution of higher education in Thailand, with 19 faculties plus schools, colleges and institutes, and 448 academic programmes. It has 41,477 students, including 2,229 international students from 73 nationalities. Chulalongkorn is Thailand's number one university in the QS World University Rankings for the 18th year running, at #212 in 2027, and the only Thai university in the QS ASEAN top 10.
