About Eindhoven University of Technology
Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) was founded in 1956 as Technische Hogeschool Eindhoven, originally to supply Philips with highly skilled graduates. It has nine departments plus a graduate school, and about 42% of its students come from abroad, close to 5,900 international students. Two residential towers opened on campus in 2024 to house the growing number of international students. TU/e is #152 in the QS World University Rankings 2027.

The university assesses your file and sends an admission decision.

Accept the offer and pay the tuition fee instalment or deposit; the university applies for your MVV and residence permit with the IND.

Visa & arrive
Collect the MVV at the Dutch embassy if needed, travel, collect your residence permit card and register with the municipality.
