About Hannover Medical School
Hannover Medical School was founded in 1965 as Germany's first independent medical university. It teaches human medicine and dentistry with state examinations, plus master's and doctoral programmes in biomedicine, biochemistry, biology, biomedical data science, infectious diseases and public health. It is Germany's largest transplant centre, with 334 solid organ transplants in 2024.
