About Providence University College
Providence University College and Theological Seminary began in 1925 as the Winnipeg Bible Training School and moved to a 100-acre campus in Otterburne, about 50 km southeast of Winnipeg, in 1970. It is an evangelical Christian institution offering bachelor's degrees in Arts, Science, Business Administration and Theology (with majors such as Aviation, Communications and Media, Biology and Psychology) and seminary graduate programmes including Counselling and Divinity. Because of the federal study-permit cap, in 2025 it received far fewer PALs and only its Master of Management remained open to new international students.
