About Toronto Metropolitan University
Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), formerly Ryerson University, is a public research university in downtown Toronto, Ontario, founded in 1948 as the Ryerson Institute of Technology and renamed in 2022. It has seven faculties, including the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science, the Ted Rogers School of Management and the Faculty of Arts, and offers 100+ undergraduate and graduate programmes with a career-focused, co-op model.
