About Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)
The Universite libre de Bruxelles (ULB) was founded in 1834 on the principle of free inquiry and is one of Belgium's main French-speaking universities. It has five locations in Brussels, including the Solbosch and Plaine campuses and the Erasme hospital campus, and two in Charleroi. ULB is known for social and political sciences, law, medicine, engineering (Brussels School of Engineering) and economics (Solvay Brussels School). From 2026-27 non-European students pay the EUR 1,194 full fee plus EUR 4,175 additional fees.
